First of all, apologies for the rough start last week. We discovered that while all Fediverse apps speak ActivityPub, they sometimes speak it in the same way that Americans and Australians speak English. (Whoops.) A lot of effort has gone into smoothing that over for this week.

The new prompt for next Friday is NUMBERS and next week's hashtag will be #PhotoFriNumbers. You decide what that means to you (it doesn't have to be a picture of numbers) and put it in up to five images. Submit them during the global 50 hour Friday posting window next week (Friday September 18th, 2026). Remember that the images MUST be posted SEPARATELY, not as a carousel - most Fediverse apps can't handle those.

The boosting window for this week's challenge VROOM is now open, post those images to your feed with the hashtag #PhotoFriVroom

Remember, if you want to participate but you don't like the pressure of judging or like-counting, add the #horsconcours to be exempted - we understand.
